Fruits of the new collaboration between the sciences of the universe and the sciences of life, some new spatial programs were decided. They deal with :

• The search for life in solar system by :
  • The investigation of an asteroid by means of a spacecraft endowed with an imager and scientific probes (spectromètre, magnétomètre, laser) (37)
  • The study of the system of Saturn and in particular of its satellite Titan by an european probe fastened to an equipped vessel him also of an imageur and scientific instruments (36, 37)
  • A new campaign of study of the planet Mars by the sending of several probes to collect samples (37, 38, 42, 43)
  • The study of samples taken from the coma of a comet by a spacecraft which will take also images of the operation (36, 37, 41).
• The detection of planets outside the solar system by the survey of 6 000 stars in every field of observed sky (36, 37),
• The detection of the telluric exoplanets -and more exactly of the exoplanets where life is possible, ie on which surface the liquid water can exist- requires to use higher wavelength : from 6 to 17 µm. This detection program can only be done in space (16, 35, 36, 37, 39),
• The search of planetary nebulaes (40).
